Severe weather and fierce storms continue to move through west Texas Sunday night. Strong winds and lightning have caused power outages in several areas. Currently, approximately 9,100 customers are out of power in the Abilene area due to the storms. The largest estimated groups of customer outages are in Childress, 3,700; Quanah, 1,800; and Haskell, 1,925. Please stay safe as this weather continues to make its way across the area.
